Why we choose this book list?
Douban is the post popular online book community in China, equivalent to Goodreads.
Weekly Popular Books features mainly new books and is updated every week.
We'll try our best to update here every Tuesday.
The list will consist of four main columns: BISAC, Title, Author and Ranking in respective categories. We'll have each title translated into English and with a link to the book page. The English title and its BISAC will give you a general idea of the book; thanks to AI and machine translation technology, you'll get more details about the content and author with just one click.
You may notice that the rankings are not consecutive. This is because translated books are not listed -- the Chinese book market is huge, huge for translated books.
